Builder’s £1m for Dewsbury services

A housebuilder is set to contribute more than £1 million to improving the services and facilities available to people in Dewsbury, alongside its Amberwood Chase development.

Harron Homes has pledged contributions to augment local services and facilities, including £796,531 towards affordable housing.

A further £348,656 will help to bolster educational standards, with £25,000 and £10,000 contributing to bus stops and a Travel Plan Monitoring Fee.

Noel Adams at Harron Homes Yorkshire said: “It is our pleasure to be providing these contributions for the benefit of people living in and around Dewsbury.”
