Teenager Josh in Hank’s Shadow

GUITARIST Josh Doyle takes to the stage next weekend with his tribute to the Shadows at Cleckheaton town hall along side the UK’s number one Cliff Richard tribute Jimmy Jemain.

Eighteen-year-old Josh, of East Bierley, has been performing his show across the UK for three years and has had the chance to play with many Sixties stars such as Union Gap, Mindbenders, the Animals, the Searchers, the Manfreds and many more.

The Bradford College music student said: “Many people ask if I enjoy what I do and each time I tell them that a job that you really enjoy isn’t really a job at all.”

In between his tribute work he is constantly involved with the music scene. He is also in a local up and coming band Toxic Sausage which plays music to suit everyone, from Mony Mony to Wig Wam Bam and the Killers classic Mr Brightside.

The young ‘Hank Marvin’ will be appearing at Cleckheaton town hall with his tribute to the Shadows on Saturday October 29 at 7.30pm, tickets are £12 call 01924 324501.

Toxic Sausage are performing at the Richardsons Arms, Oakenshaw, on Friday October 28 from 9pm.
