Still chance to grab tickets for festival

With just two weeks to go until festival goers set up camp at Bramham Park, there’s still time to grab tickets to Leeds Festival.

With twin Reading Festival already sold out, organisers are predicting a last minute rush for tickets to the event, which takes place from August 23 to 25.

Early entry, day and weekend tickets are still available, with UK festival exclusive headline performances from Green Day, Eminem and Biffy Clyro.

As well as the headliners, the festival will feature over 200 artists, including System of A Down, Fall Out Boy, Skrillex, Deftones, City and Colour and more.

Once again, up and coming musicians, including Wakefield’s own The Grand, will take to the BBC Introducing Stage, and the all new BBC Radio 1Xtra Stage will feature the likes of Devlin and Wretch 32. Alkaline Trio and Shikari Sound System playing on the Lock Up and the new Rock Stage

And it’s not just music, the like of Russell Kane and Lee Nelson will perform on the Alternative Stage.

Among those kicking things off on the main stage on Friday are Bury Tomorrow, Don Broco, Editors, Fall Out Boy and Nine Inch Nails before Scottish trio Biffy Clyro headline. Over at the NME/BBC Radio 1 stage are Haim, Disclosure, Azelia Banks and headliner Phoenix.

Green Day fans on Saturday will have the pleasure of New Found Glory, Deftones and System of a Down on the main stage before the headliners.

And those wanting a change of pace can head over to see Skrillex head up the NME/BBC Radio 1 stage.

While Eminem will no doubt bring the festival to a crescendo on Sunday, there’s still plenty to look forward to during the day, including Mallory knock, Chase and Status and Foals on the main stage, and Jake Bugg and Alt-J on the NME/BBC Radio 1 stage.
