Something for all at First Direct Arena

Music, sports and comedy fans are in for a treat as some of the world’s top names come to Leeds Arena.

For fans of pop music, Boyzone are performing at the venue on December 9. Tickets are from £35.

Status Quo and 10CC are bringing their inimitable sounds to the arena on December 17, and Wet Wet Wet take to the stage on December 18.

On offer for reality TV fans are JLS’s show on December 20. Strictly Come Dancing’s live tour will stop off in Leeds from January 24 to 26, and Torvill and Dean’s Dancing On Ice Live appears on AprIl 26 and 27.

Legendary indie rockers the Manic Street Preachers are performing on March 28, while Mercury prizewinning band Elbow are bringing their latest tour to the arena on April 11.

Meanwhile, the arena is playing host to the BBC’s Sports Personality of the Year 2013, hosted by Gary Lineker, Clare Balding and Gabby Logan on December 15.

The boxing world will be eagerly anticipating December 21 when Commonwealth and IBF Intercontinental and former British bantamweight champion Stuart Hall challenges South Africa’s Vusi Malinga for the IBF World Bantamweight title.

While fans of wrestling will be thrilled with the WWE Live tour which appears in Leeds on May 16.

And there’s plenty on offer for kids too, with Peter Pan: The Neverending Story on December 26 and 27 and Disney on Ice presents Worlds of Fantasy from March 5 to 9.

Comedy fans have plenty to get their teeth into, with Russell Howard’s Wonderbox tour appearing at the arena on March 16, and telly favourite Miranda’s first stand up show, on March 21 and 22.
