The ‘Scented Candle’ evening, on Friday November 1, will see two brand new acts as well as the return of the young and very gifted Morley singer/songwriter Dylan Brierley.

The event, organised by the Crown of Lights, will also feature the largest acoustic act yet at the club with the roots and rock and roll combo six- piece Jon Palmer Acoustic Band from Otley.

They are described as a cross between The Pogues and Bruce Springsteen’s Seeger Session Band with a bit of Waterboys and Saw Doctors thrown in for good measure. The line-up includes guitars, mandolin, whistle, double bass, violin, and drums. And everyone sings!

The third part of the amazing line-up is Birmingham’s Robert Lane who has appeared at The Edinburgh Fringe Festival, Birmingham Artsfest and The Tenby Blues Festival as well as venues including Jools Holland’s famous venue The Jam House. He has supported the likes of Nell Bryden, Alice Gold, Cattle and Cane, Jazz Morley, Edwina Hayes, Steve Gibbons, Dan Whitehouse and Steve Ajao.

Doors open 8pm, free entry and family friendly.
