Prepare for mystery

THE world’s longest running show is heading to the Grand Theatre in Leeds.

Agatha Christie’s The Mousetrap was met with critical acclaim during its run at the Alhambra, Bradford, and will grace the stage at the Grand from Monday March 11 to Saturday March 16, 2013.

The murder-mystery play turned 60 in November and this is the first ever tour of the record-breaking production.

Ian Sime, general manager at the Grand, said: “The Mousetrap is firmly placed in theatre heritage and we’re looking forward to welcoming it to Leeds Grand Theatre. There is rarely a night without a performance somewhere in the world and now Leeds is part of that world stage.”
