Orchestra of Opera North to play at Dewsbury Town Hall

Details of the new season’s classical concerts at Dewsbury Town Hall have been released.

Classical Greats will be the first show of the season, which will take place on Friday September 26.

Conducted by former chief conductor of the Nordwestdeutsche Philharmonie Eugene Tzigane, the show will be performed by the Orchestra of Opera North.

It will include the musical classics Haydn’s Symphony No 104 (London) and Mozart’s Clarinet Concerto performed by Opera North’s principal clarinettist Colin Honour.

Other shows include A Joyous Christmas, performed by the Chorus of Opera North on Thursday December 11.

Conductor Alexandre Bloch will also bring his show Festive Grandeur to the town hall on Saturday February 7.
