A truly diverse programme put West End favourites alongside songs from Disney films, tracks from big screen musicals and wartime classics that went down a treat.

We Both Reached For The Gun was a sharp ensemble number lead superbly by Chris Hall, while a raunchy rendition of Lady Marmalade raised a few eyebrows.

Two tracks from Jersey Boys gave the male cast a chance to shine with wonderful harmonies, before four of the ladies kicked off a wartime segment with a superb performance of Boogie Woogie Bugle Boy.

A fantastic sketch from the show’s director and choreographer Frank Hammond and a sing-a-long had the audience in high spirits.

Highlights in the second half included a Rocky Horror Show medley and a moving performance of No One But You by Amy Roche.

Other favourites were the Blues Brothers tracks and the Oliver! medley led by Kevin Mawson.

It all built towards a powerful finale of He Lives in You featuring the whole cast led by Pam Hall – a wonderful end to the celebrations. GM
