Lunchtime festive cheer

Every year the lunchtime concert season brings festive cheer to audiences at Dewsbury and Huddersfield Town Halls – and this year there are four performances to choose from.

On Monday December 5 at 1pm, Gordon Stewart performs his Music for Advent and Christmas concert at Huddersfield Town Hall, including JS Bach’s Two Preludes on Nun komm der Heiden and Fugue on the Magnificat and Handel’s Hallelujah Chorus.

The popular University of Huddersfield Brass Band will be performing at Huddersfield Town Hall on Monday December 12 at 1pm and again at Dewsbury Town Hall on Wednesday December 14 at 12.30pm.

On Monday December 19 at 1pm Gordon Stewart will perform at Huddersfield Town Hall with the Girl Choristers of Wakefield Cathedral and Derbyshire based Flute Salad for a concert full of cheer.

Tickets are £5 (£3.50 concessions) for each concert and can be booked at Kirklees booking offices, calling 01484 223200.
