The actor – best known for parts in Eastenders, Footballer’s Wives and The Bill – will be by joined by a cast including Dinnerladies regular Andrew Dunn, Brookside star Louis Emerick, and Coronation Street star Rupert Hill.
Oscar-winning writer Simon Beaufoy has adapted the film about six out-of-work Sheffield steelworkers with nothing to lose and created a hilarious and heartfelt stage version that’s getting standing ovations every night.
The show also features iconic pop favourites from the film by Donna Summer, Hot Chocolate and Tom Jones.
It comes to Bradford’s Alhmabra Theatre from Monday February 9 until Saturday February 14.
