Eddy and Patsy have finally made their riotous big-screen debut – older but none the wiser!

Created by Jennifer Saunders, British sitcom Absolutely Fabulous swiftly ascended the ranks of all-time-great comedy shows.

The show introduced us to hilariously self-obsessed PR agent Edina ‘Eddy’ Monsoon (Saunders) and her even more grotesque magazine editor friend Patsy Stone (Joanna Lumley) in their never-ending quest to stay young and relevant.

Now, the unforgettable twosome finally make their big screen debut in the long-awaited Ab Fab movie, which picks up with Eddy and Patsy still attempting to claw back their youth.

When a bizarre accident results in the death of supermodel Kate Moss however, the two must flee to the French Riviera!

Several old favourites from the show return including Eddie’s long-suffering daughter Saffy (Julia Sawalha), sarcastic Mother (June Whitfield) and the brilliantly air-headed Bubble (Jane Horrocks). Making cameos are the likes of Jon Hamm, Rebel Wilson and Gwendoline Christie.

Directed by Mandie Fletcher the film, running 91 minutes, is distributed by 20th Century Fox and is in cinemas from Friday, July 1.
