Dewsbury Arts Group presents City of Angels
The 1988 classic musical, written by Larry Gelbart is a comedic take on ‘chandler-esque’ style Hollywood crime dramas.
The music for the production was composed by Cy Coleman who also wrote Barnum and Sweet Charity.

The protagonist of the musical, Stine, is a fiction writer who dreams of getting his work on the big screen.
The whole production captures intrigue, love and excitement of 1940s Hollywood.
City of Angels’ will be showing from Thursday utnil July 5 (excluding June 29) at the DAG Artspace, Lower Peel Street, Dewsbury, WF13 2EE, at 7.30pm.
