Competition: Win a family ticket to Musical Madness at Ripley Castle

Tribute acts will rock Ripley Castle during an open-air concert later this month.

The first Music on the Meadows concert since 2008 will boast acts such as Queen B, who will play hits such as Bohemian Rhapsody, and Ultimate Madness, a tribute to the chart-topping ska legends.

And the Reporter Series and Morley Observer have four sets of family tickets worth £80 each up for grabs.

The event’s director Andrew Russell said: “We have got the UK’s best tribute bands. They have a very broad appeal and they are widely enjoyed by people of all ages.

“Paul Jackson who plays Freddie is uncanny.

“Even though they are tributes they are very good quality.

“I feel really good about it, really excited to be back.”

The event will support the Neuroblastoma Children’s Cancer Alliance (NCCA UK).

The charity raises funds for those affected by Neuroblastoma, a form of childhood cancer with a low survival rate.

Mr Russell decided to support the cause after family friends had experience of it.

The concert’s warm-up set will come courtesy of Bradford and Harrogate’s Stagecoach Theatre and Arts School, and the night includes a firework finale over the castle’s lake.

Mr Russell said: “It is a really fun, honest and entertaining night. People can come along, bring their picnics and enjoy the atmosphere.”

To be in with a chance of winning family tickets (two adults and two concessions), tell us the name of Queen B’s singer who is a tribute to Freddie Mercury.
