Celebrated painter show

A rare collection of Matisse and Picasso lithographs from the 1950s are to go on display in Mirfield.

West Yorkshire Print Workship in Huddersfield Road is displaying the work from March 29.

Matisse’s works were produced shortly before his death, and the work by Picasso was produced as he reflected upon the death of his friend.

The exhibition will be previewed on Friday March 28 with drinks from 6pm. A talk by Dorrie King, the owner of the collection, will take place on Thursday April 3. Ring 01924 497646 for more.
