Penny will be playing the part of Katisha – the original big time party spoiler - in Halifax G&S Society’s production which runs from November 5-9 at the Halifax Playhouse.

For complete theatrical enjoyment, it is hard to beat this masterpiece, set in Japan, where a wandering minstrel and a none-too-innocent schoolgirl are embroiled in a topsy-turvy love triangle with the Lord High Executioner. Along the way are some of the most hummable tunes in musical theatre, accompanied by wonderful wit and humour – and the scary wrath of Katisha!

Performances are 7.30pm each night with a Saturday matinee at 2.30pm.

Tickets are £10, concessions £8 – opening night two seats for £12. For information call 01422 381931.
