Later this month Bridie Jackson and the Arbour, Gilmore & Roberts, and Heg & the Wolf Chorus will take to the stage at the Lawrence Batley Theatre.

The most recent album by gothic-tinged quartet Bridie Jackson and the Arbour has drawn comparisons to off-kilter songwriters Bjork, Nick Cave and Joni Mitchell.

The group have received praise from BBC Radio 6 Music presenters Lauren Laverne and Guy Garvey.

Katriona Gilmore and Jamie Roberts mix folk with indie and Americana influences.

The duo focus on storytelling and songwriting in their original compositions and their versions of traditional folk songs.

Finally, the bill will be completed by Heg & the Wolf Chorus, who focus on dramatic pop and folk, taking inspiration from fairy tales and Heg’s own family tree.
