On June 22, 1990, the Dewsbury Reporter published the faces of 46 girls from across Dewsbury, Batley and Spen. Where are they now?
The girls were the entrants for that year's Miss Enterprise contest, an annual beauty competition which was phenomenally popular at the time.

The winner of the contest was crowned at the Frontier in a sparkling gala evening attended by hundreds of people. In 1990, the winner was Joanna Stadnicki, of Crackenedge, who won £250 and a bouquet of flowers.
Now, 18 years later and in the Reporter's 150th year of publication, we want to find all 46 participants from the 1990 contest.

We want all our readers to see if they recognise the women - hopefully some of the the girls themselves will be among the ones logging on.

The project ends when all 46 women have been accounted for.

Reporter editor Richard Firth said: "This is a unique project in local newspapers and one which we're really excited about doing. It should throw up some fascinating stories.

"It's only because of our proud history that we can do a project like this. We've got a massive archive, full of all our back copies and people love nostalgia so we're in a great position.

"We're proud to be able to say that we've not been here for just five or ten years. Our history makes us part of the fabric of Dewsbury and we shall continue to be for many more years to come."
So CLICK HERE today and see if you recognise our 46 girls of 1990.
