Rams fans get first glimpse of newclub merchandise

Dewsbury Rams have launched a new range of merchandise which supporters will be able to buy in the lead up to Christmas.

Online pre-orders of a new range of clothing, which includes jackets, hoodies and polo shirts manufactured by new kit supplier Errea, went on sale this week, with items due to be delivered before Christmas.

The Rams will also host an official kit and clothing launch in December to allow fans to buy products as Christmas presents.

The Rams will revert to wearing traditional red, amber and black hooped jerseys for the 2017 season after the club ran a competition for supporters and the team will also have a new-look on their travels with an away strip of blue, white and green hoops.

Coach Glenn Morrison will also have several new players on show, with the Rams’ first outing the traditional Boxing Day derby with Batley Bulldogs.

Promising young hooker Robbie Ward has signed from Featherstone Rovers having started his career with Leeds Rhinos.

Ward is joined by Gareth Potts, second row Aaron Ollett, ex Castleford Tigers Academy player Brad Foster and Jamaican international centre Hamish Barnes, who joins from Keighley.

Club captain Paul Sykes is also set to embark on his 18th season in the game.
