Hepworth joined the Rams in 2011 having had seven seasons at Sheffield Eagles and has made 53 appearances for the cluband is set to spend a fourth campaign at Tetley’s Stadium next year.

Coach Glenn Morrison has paid tribute the the forward, saying: “Heppy has been a real leader for us over the last two years, and he’s really stood up to be counted when his fellow forwards have been injured.

“He’s been ‘Mr Consistent’ for two years now and both Heppy and ourselves are very happy that he’ll be here for another year.

“It’s important that we have the majority of our pack together in 2014, and Heppy is a big part of it.”
