Snap up a bargain with season ticket

DEWSBURY Rams have confirmed they offer the cheapest season ticket of any club in the Championship.

The £115 Rams fans will pay for a terracing ticket is £10 cheaper than the next cheapest in the division and costs a whopping £105 less than Swinton’s, although Lions supporters receive a free replica shirt with any pass bought.

Champions Sheffield Eagles, who use both the Don Valley Stadium and Bramall Lane as their home venues, charge just one price of £125, while Dewsbury’s dearest pass is still only £5 more expensive at £130 to sit in the main stand.

Some clubs charge just one price whether to stand or sit, but the Rams season ticket offers excellent value for money compared with every other club in the division.

Here’s how all the Championship clubs compare: Barrow £145 (dearest) £145 (cheapest), Batley £160 £160, Dewsbury £130 £115, Doncaster £165 £165, Featherstone £219 £159, Halifax £199 £161, Hunslet £140 £140, Keighley £200 £160, Leigh £200 £180, Sheffield £125 £125, Swinton £220 £220, Whitehaven £150 £150, Workington £150 £140, York £176 £154.

Anyone wanting a season ticket can visit www.dewsburyrams.co.uk for details, call into Tetley’s Stadium or contact 01924 465489.

The Rams are holding an open day for fans at Tetley’s Stadium tomorrow from 11am until 2pm when the new home shirt will be on sale.

The jersey has proved popular among fans as it commemorates the 1973 Championship winning team.

Coach Glenn Morrison will be there signing autographs and posing for pictures with supporters.
