Fisher rounded off their campaign on Tuesday night when they met Woodkirk for a second time in three days.

The champions were under-strength for the dead rubber and slipped to their first league defeat of the season, going down 4-2.

Fisher end the campaign a point clear of Woodkirk with a record of 15 wins, two draws and just one defeat and were only denied a second successive treble when they were beaten 3-2 by Birkenshaw in the Heavy Woollen Challenge Cup final.

Birkenshaw brought the curtain down on their Premier Division campaign with a 3-1 victory over Mount Pleasant on Tuesday.

Birkenshaw finish the season sixth, a place above Mount, with the bottom two places occupied by Overthorpe Sports Club and AFC Chickenley, who both end on nine points.

Saville Arms clinched the Division Two title as they defeated Rose of York 6-1 in a championship decider.

Rose went into the final league game of the season two points clear at the top but defeat saw them pipped for the crown.
