Central boxers secure sports centre backing

Central boxers Gary Sykes and Tony Aitcheson have agreed partnerships with Dewsbury Sports Centre.

Sykes will do much of his cardio based training at the centre and will use the health spa as part of his rehabilitation, while he has also been attending some of the classes the centre offer.

Aitcheson, who is preparing for his comeback on March 22, is also using the sports centre as part of his training.

A March Gym Challenge will see if customers can beat Sykes and Aitcheson in sections of their training regime. Statistics for the boxers will be displayed for all gym goers to compete against.

An additional boost has seen Aitcheson receive sponsorship from Muscle Force Supplements, based in Birstall.
