Guzdek has leading try scorer in his sights
Josh Guzdek has his sights set on becoming Dewsbury Rams' leading try scorer for 2016 as the Kingstone Press Championship Shield reaches the second round of matches.
Guzdek’s 58th minute try against Swinton last week was his 11th of the season, leaving the full-back just two off winger Dalton Grant.
With Grant’s season appearing over due to an Achilles problem, Guzdek has a chance of overhauling the Welsh international’s tally, with at least six matches remaining.
Winger Dale Morton is two tries further behind Guzdek on nine.
Rams captain Paul Sykes’ six goals from seven attempts against Swinton took his tally for the campaign to 53.
