DEWSBURY Moor play their biggest game of the season to date when they meet Upton in the third round of the BARLA National Cup at Heckmondwike Road tomorrow (2pm).

Although they play in different leagues, the sides have met before this time with Yorkshire League Upton beating Pennine club Moor 28-12 at home in the second round of the Yorkshire Cup.

Moor have improved since then and are on a run of five cup and league wins, highlighted by a convincing 40-6 triumph at Ossett Trinity last weekend in Pennine Division One East, a success which moved them into third with games in hand on the teams above. It promises to be a cracking game and should attract a good crowd as this is only Moor’s second home game since October.

Thornhill Trojans seek to make it three successive wins in Pennine Division Three when they visit Odsal Sedbergh. They beat the Bradford side 64-10 early in the season.

Dewsbury Celtic seek to maintain their challenge in Yorkshire Division Two at home to Moorends.

In Division Three, rapidly-improving White Rose bid to make it five wins out of five when they visit Ryhill Hammers, while Shaw Cross A are at bottom club Harehills.
