DEWSBURY Moor are looking forward to another big day at the club on Sunday when one of their old boys, Matt Diskin, of Leeds Rhinos will take the Super League trophy to an open day, which starts at 2pm.
There is also the chance that the four Burgess brothers, who all played at the Moor, Sam, who is shortly to leave to join South Sydney, and twins George and Tom, who have signed new contracts at Bradford Bulls, will be there along with Luke, who is a team matre of Diskin’s at the Rhinos. Moor may also be the only club to beat the weather tomorrow as they are due to meet Yorkshire Cup finalists Hunslet Old Boys in the Yorkshire Premier Division at Heckmondwike Road, kick-off 2pm.

Moor are not affected by the Kirklees ban on the use of council pitches being used this weekend because they own their own ground.

However, if the weather continues to be poor the match could well be off.

The Moor have been glad of a break of late after a hectic start to the campaign, while their county cup run means the Old Boys have so far played only two league games.
