RAVENSTHORPE powerlifter Sue Hollands won her seventh successive world masters powerlifting title in Palm Springs, California.
The 56-year-old was part of the women's masters team (50 years and over), who finished third at the World Masters Powerlifting Championships, while she retained her individual world title.
Sue, and daughter Marie, previously competed for Great Britain in the Western European Cup at Herning, Denmark when the team and Sue both won silver.
Sue has been powerlifting for nine years. She still loves the sport as much as ever and is determined to improve further.
Her success is attributed to coach Barrie Nelson, who is a great enthusiast and encourager and whose wisdom, Sue wholehearted believes in. Sue and Marie are members of the Steelman Powerlifting Club and train at the Future Bodies gym in Morley.
