BACK row man Rob Spicer, pictured above, has been named as the Player of the Month at Dewsbury Rams.
Spicer, who has started the last 15 games for the Rams, has given some outstanding performances and appears to be improving with each game.
He has fully justified the faith shown in him by coach Warren Jowitt when he signed him from Wakefield Trinity and has become an important part of a formidable pack.
Jowitt said: “Rob really deserves the award. He does so much good work, particularly on defence, that isn’t always noticed by the fans but he is a great type to have around, puts in the hard graft, and would give any side a lift.”
