SAVILE Stars suffered a three-wicket defeat in their top of theLeeds-West Riding LeagueDivision One clash with Caribbean.
Although T Khan top-scored with 46, the Stars were bowled out for 159 as E Whatley claimed 3-55.

S Mahmood picked up 3-65 in reply but it wasn’t enough as Caribbean were guided to 163-7 as D Davis hit 67 not out.

Caribbean are now 53 points clear of the Stars.

Savile Stars Amoved above Caribbean A to take over as the new Division Two leaders with an impressive win.

M Khan (48), Nazeem (31) and Z Patel (35) led the Stars innings of 229 before S Patel claimed 4-35 to seal their victory.
