THE Batley-Dewsbury saga continues next month with the Bulldogs and the Rams drawn to meet each other in the fourth round of the Carnegie Challenge Cup.
The game is at Mount Pleasant on Sunday, April 20, just 10 days after the sides meet at Tetley's Stadium in the televised National League One game.
The tie will be the fourth time the clubs have met in 10 weeks and the fifth since Boxing Day, with a league game at Mount Pleasant in June still to come. In fact if the sides progress in the Northern Rail Cup and reach the play-offs they could play each other on two or even three other occasions.
Dewsbury Rams chairman Mark Sawyer remarked: "At least we don't have to travel far in the cup.
"There should be a good crowd and it's a game both sides can win.
"There is very good prize money in the Challenge Cup and we are keen to keep winning and hopefully get another home draw."
