A WEBSITE for the Shannon Matthews Appeal will be officially launched tonight at a sponsored walk to mark three weeks since Shannon went missing.
Money raised by the sponsored walk, which will set off from Moorside Community House at 6pm, will go to the appeal to help support the search for the missing nine-year-old.

It will cover the cost of printing more leaflets, holding public meetings and generating publicity.

On Thursday a family disco will also be held in aid of the appeal at Staincliffe Cricket and WMC on Halifax Road, Staincliffe.

The website, www.helpfindshannon.org.uk, went live today and features a description of Shannon, updates on the police investigation and details of how to support the appeal.

It was organised by Dewsbury West Pathfinder, registered charity Voluntary Action Kirklees and Leeds-based web design company No Worries, which designed the site for free.
