A search for a birth mother has helped siblings discover a family they did not know they had.
In 2008, the News printed the appeal of Sheila Tannahill, who was looking for information about her birth mother Andrea Stead, believed to be from Batley or Dewsbury.
Then in January this year Stephen Taylor got in touch as he was also searching for Mrs Stead, his birth mother, and believed he and Sheila could be related.
This week Michelle Ledgard contacted the News to say the appeals had helped to reunite them as long lost relations.
She is still searching for information about Mrs Stead, who died in 1975.
