LONG-serving school cook Eileen Cleghorn has clearly found just the recipe for retirement.
After more than 20 years dishing up mealtime treats to pupils at Westborough High School, Eileen has bowed out - completing her last shift on Friday.
And she now plans to move down south to be nearer her daughter.
In all, Eileen has clocked up nearly 30 years service with Kirklees Council.
Gayna Goalby, from the school, paid tribute to her sterling service: “She is a lovely woman, really good with the kids. She has always been there to help. Eileen has given a lot of very good service to the school.”
To mark the occasion, there was a presentation and staff and pupils trimmed up the school canteen with lots of photos taken during Eileen’s career.
