Royal baby is born - a little boy for the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge
The Duchess of Cambridge has given birth to a baby boy.
Weighing 8lbs 6oz, the future King was born at 4.24pm, at St Mary’s Hospital in Paddington.
The news was revealed via email from Kensington Palace, in a break with royal tradition. The Duchess went into labour at 6am this morning.
