KIDS will share the stage with one of the most famous brass bands in the country for a Christmas special.

The pupils from Batley Parish School Singing Group, conducted by Kate Delaney, will join the Hammonds Saltaire Brass Band for the concert in Batley Town Hall on December 1. The concert will see the band kindle the Christmas theme with such popular numbers as Santa Claus is coming to town, Santa Baby and the Ukrainian Bell Carol.

The youngsters will not only perform a number of festive items but help lead the carol singing which is a feature of each half of the programme.

Tickets are £10 (concessions £8) from the Town Hall or from the band’s publicity manager Ted Griffiths on 01924 478933.
