Children from Child's Play Nursery in Dewsbury proved that you're never too young to learn about remembrance after they made their own poppies.

The pre-school tots visited Crow Nest Park on Armistice Day and talked about poppies during group circle time. They looked at the wreaths laid on the memorial and placed those they had made themselves beside them.

"This was a very informative morning for the children and they learned a lot - some even went home to tell parents about the day’s events,” said senior nursery teacher Lucy Lovell.
