FAMILIES will be able to enjoy the fun of the fair and raise money for a good cause next week.

The Big Family Fun Fair in Thornhill Lees will raise money for Sports Relief.

A variety of rides will be set up in Lees Holm Park. They will be open to the public on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday of next week, 5pm-9pm, and on Saturday and Sunday, 1pm-9pm.

On top of that, children from local special needs groups will get exclusive access to the funfair on the Saturday, 11.30am-12.30pm.

Organiser Tina Shaw has been running the event for four years. She said: “I love doing any community event because it promotes cohesion.

“Everybody loves the funfair anyway, but people also love an event like this because its somewhere to go to see people and have fun with the family.”

Pick up a copy of this week’s Reporter, on sale now, to get money saving vouchers for the fair.
