SUPERMARKET chain Morrisons is set to take over Netto in Ravensthorpe.
Asda has said it is buying all Netto’s UK stores subject to final approval from the Office of Fair Trading.
But 14 Yorkshire and Humber sites, including Ravensthorpe, are being sold on to other companies.
The handover of the Huddersfield Road store is expected to take place in March and the conversion to Morrisons will take a further three months.
All staff will become Morrisons employees.
But a company spokesman said it could not say if there would be extra jobs or an expansion of the store.
