A new political party which hopes to “change to face of British politics” is to fight for the Dewsbury and Mirfield seat at the next general election.

Justice For Men And Boys will challenge Simon Reevell and 29 other Conservative MPs for their seats in 2015.

The party was founded by its leader, Mike Buchanan, a former Conservative adviser who resigned from the Tories after leader David Cameron said he would use all-women shortlists to select candidates.

Labour has already announced that it will use an all-women shortlist to select its next candidate for Dewsbury and Mirfield.

Mr Buchanan said: “All the major parties have been institutionally anti-male for many years, and it is for this reason that we formed our party.”
