Martin Walsh Architectural lands £2.5million contract with Louvolite
The 1,450 square metre warehouse and 2,884 square metre two-storey building will be based at Ashton Road in Hyde.
Positioned on the company’s existing premises, the new development includes offices, a warehouse, production facility and a state-of-the-art training and showroom.

Hide AdIt will be built by Radcliffe Construction and the civil and structural engineers are Leeds-based Melia Smith and Jones.
In addition to being named as architectural designers for the new manufacturing site, which has been developed to emulate the mill window openings that had been on the site since 1920 before being demolished in 2011, MWA also led the successful planning application that was approved back in December 2015.
Matthew Robinson, technical director at MWA, said: “We were really excited to have been awarded the contract with Louvolite and that the proposed facility has now been given the green light.

Hide Ad“Efficiency has been integral to the design, which features solar panels and acoustically enhanced façade materials to minimise noise pollution to the adjacent residential properties.”
Work is expected to be completed by December 2017.
