EXHIBITION CURATOR Mark Milnes.

An exhibition that will celebrate and reflect on the sacrifices of those made in The First World War will take place in Batley later this year.

Kirklees Council wants to team up with local artists for the Lines of Conflict event that will take place in September and October in Batley Art Gallery.

The council wants to encourage artists young and old to get in touch and contribute to the exhibition, which will run in the library from September 6 to October 18. Those featured will get the chance to see their work up in the art gallery.

For more information or to express an interest, contact Mark Milnes at mark.milnes@kirklees.gov.uk or on 01924 326021.
