Two “significant” cannabis farms were discovered in a cellar after police were called to investigate a burglary this morning (Thursday).
Officers arrived at a set of buildings in Boothroyd Lane, Westtown, to reports of an ongoing burglary at 8.40am.
Police cars pulled up outside the former Luppy’s building, which is now used for rented accommodation.
During their search they discovered two cannabis farms in the cellar of the building.
Officers have made the electricity supply to the building and are currently dismantling the farms.
