PROMS: Batley Grammar School take over Met Hotel in Leeds

Batley Grammar School's year 11 pupils hit the city to celebrate prom night.

The GCSE students booked the glitzy Met Hotel in Leeds for the end-of-the-year ball, and the event proved to be a glamorous occasion.

After enjoying a buffet meal, there were emotional leavers’ speeches and a slideshow of photos of the pupils throughout their five years at the school.

The popular student awards provided plenty of laughs and 25 teachers also attended the prom to wish the teenagers well.

The night got even better for the young organisers when they received feedback from the venue, whose staff had told them that Batley Grammar was the best-behaved prom group they had ever accommodated.

Prom season is now upon us - and we want to feature our local teenagers dressed up in their finery.

The Reporter Series titles are looking to print pictures of school leavers in their glam gowns, smart suits and quirky transport, and we want you to send them to us. The images will all feature in a slideshow on our websites, and the best will appear in print.
