Snow warning for roads

The Met Office has issued a warning for ice and snow across the north of England today.

Temporary accumulations of snow are possible locally. Tonight, ice could well become widespread on untreated surfaces. More sleet snow is likely to occur in places, mainly above around 200m where a further few cm could accumulate.

There may be a disruption to travel on roads.
