Intruders demanded cash after breaking into Dewsbury Moor home

TWO men forced their way into a man’s home and demanded money.

The pair called at a house in Beckett Walk, Dewsbury Moor, at about 5pm on Friday.

They barged past a 53-year-old man who answered the door and demanded cash once inside.

After threatening the man and searching the house, they left with nothing.

The victim was not injured.

The suspects were described as a two men in their mid 20s to early 30s.

One was black, around 6ft tall and stocky. He wore a grey long-sleeved hooded top and black tracksuit bottoms.

The second was white, 6ft tall and stocky, with short dark curly hair. He wore a blue long-sleeved top and blue tracksuit bottoms.

Call police on 101 with any information.
