UNDER SCRUTINY: Young people in Dewsbury are being targeted by online bullies.

NUDE photos and graphic sexual comments about Dewsbury teenagers have been posted on web pages claiming to air ‘dirty secrets’.

Several Facebook pages have sprung up in the past 10 days on which people have openly posted abusive and offensive comments about their peers.

The pages have already gathered hundreds of followers, many of whom are pupils at the town’s schools.

It comes just a week after a 15-year-old Canadian girl took her own life after becoming the victim of cyberbullies.

One Reporter reader, who did not want to be named for fear of being targeted, said his girlfriend’s daughter had been bullied in the same way.
