Could you put up with this racket?

Waiting for Video...

It’s been a long week for bin man Neil Fraser who hasn’t slept a wink since Monday.

A noisy electricity generator was put right next to his home in Chickenley after the power supply was cut in his street.

He said: “It’s not stopped at all and when I’m in bed it’s horrendous.”

The generator is running round the clock and is not expected to be taken away until next week.

Mr Fraser, 36, said: “There’s an emergency stop button on the back and I’ve been so tempted to press it.”

But unfortunately the machine in Princess Road is being guarded 24 hours a day.
