Mirfield’s second annual beer festival swung into action last weekend as punters supped their way through hundreds of pints some of the region’s finest real ales .
The event, which took place at Mirfield Cricket Club, was attended by beer enthusiasts young and old.
Twenty ales and ciders were on offer, with popular sups including Pretty in Pink from Revolutions Brewery and Tabitha by Partners.
The festival was organised by Mirfield Round Table, with proceeds set to go to numerous charities.
Organiser Reuben Baker said: “It was a great weekend – so many people came on the Saturday and I’m not sure there is anything else that could have gone better.
“We want to improve on this for next year too, and we want to establish this as an annual festival.”
