HUNDREDS of protestors turned out in Huddersfield at the weekend to show their opposition to Kirklees Council plans to allow up to 22,000 homes and new warehouses and businesses to be built in the borough, including on green belt land. A seven hour meeting heard 18 deputations opposing the plans from people trying to save the green belt from development.
