A DRUG dealer who lived a luxury lifestyle has been jailed.

Mark Francois, 33, used criminal earnings to pay for two homes, expensive furniture, business units and high-performance cars.

In 2008 he and his partner Rebecca Wilson gave fraudulent details to obtain a £247,000 mortgage for a property in Sunways, Mirfield.

Amongst his drugs offences, in 2009 Francois supplied crack cocaine to an undercover police officer and a small cannabis farm was found at a property he owned in Bradley.

His cousin, Mathew, 34, of Benny Parr Close, Soothill, pleaded guilty to producing the cannabis and possessing drugs. He was jailed for 29 months at Bradford Crown Court on Wednesday.

Mark Francois was jailed for six years for allowing the house in Bradley to be used for growing cannabis, acquiring criminal property, obtaining money by deception, supplying drugs and mortgage fraud.

Wilson, 25, was given an 11 month jail term suspended for a year and 100 hours unpaid work for the mortgage fraud.
