A THORNHILL man has admitted that he ‘made love’ with a dog.
Edward Cullen, 40, admitted the offence to the owner of the Staffordshire bull terrier cross-breed when she challenged him on it.
Cullen, who has a mild learning disability, then told her that the dog had bitten him on the leg after the incident last August.
The dog’s owner had been away for two weeks and had left her pet with a friend. When she collected the dog, it was having trouble urinating and had a rash on its face and between its legs.
The owner asked her friend what had happened and was told that Cullen, of Mountain Crescent, Thornhill, Dewsbury, had made love to the animal.
Cullen was given a hospital order under the Mental Health Act at Bradford Crown Court today.
